Hilly Cow Wigwams is a small family run Glamping site set on Leyden Farm at the gateway to the Pentland Hills. Our family ‘The Barr’s’ have farmed here for over 35 years, farming quality farm assured beef cattle and sheep and a little arable to feed our own animals. Our family is passionate about farming and rural life. We hope can share our way of life with guests and educate them where food comes from, while they enjoy a countryside stay. In April we have farm tours to see new born lambs and calves, however, we are always happy to answer questions and suggest our favourite walks to see the animals. We also work with Royal Highland Educational Trust to help educate children. There is always something to see from adorable bunnies to mischievous goats. You could even try a fresh hen or duck egg.
